About Me
Posted by Dayna
Welcome to Songs In Blue, my little corner of the Internet.
I’m Dayna, a born and raised Canadian chick. In case you’re wondering, I DO love hockey (Go Canucks Go!), bacon, maple syrup, and Coca-cola. I say ‘eh’ a lot and have been known to utter the occasional ‘aboot.’ And no, I have never had seal meat.
I have an overwhelming obsession with sharks, particularly Great Whites. Cage diving is #1 on my list of things to do before I die (#2 is going to a U2 concert). I don’t think a day goes by where I don’t think or talk about those magnificent animals and I’m pretty sure I’ve watched every Shark show known to man. I barely leave the house when Shark Week is on the Discovery Channel.
My dad has a hobby – getting married and making lots of babies. As a result, I have 8 siblings ranging from 16 to late 40s.
You can go here for a quick rundown.
In August 2008, I moved to Wellington, New Zealand to live with my boyfriend, Matt. He’s a born and raised Kiwi bloke, has an awesome accent, is terribly funny and, if I may say so, very HAWT!
You can read the 3 part summary of how we met to when I moved to NZ here, here, and here. And for Matt’s side, you can read that here.
The following are some memes I’ve done. They showcase random things about me and my knack for sharing too much information.

Always wanted to get to New Zealand but haven’t made it yet. I am a fellow Coca-Cola afficionado and have a separate category on my blog for it over at http://www.bentpage.wordpress.com. Good luck on the other side of the world.

I totally agree with you about Coca-Cola, there IS a difference, I can’t remember the last time I had a Pepsi, but all the money in my wallet says I could still tell if somebody ever tries to pull a switch
