Saturday
Lance, Chad, and I went to the Imax theatre.
We saw U2:3D on the 5-storey big screen. It takes all the logic and reason in your brain to convince yourself that what you’re looking at are IMAGES, and NOT REAL PEOPLE. I had to stop my hand from reaching out a few times cause it felt like Bono was right there.
While I have always been prepared to sell my soul do almost anything to get to a concert, Lance didn’t care too much before this movie.
After we left, he said that it’s all he wants to do now.
We got to wear sweet glasses too, modelled well by Chad.
Saturday night was spent with a bunch of people at my house in the city. We played poker and watched an amazing hockey game that has restored my faith in the Canucks.
Then Lance saved my life. He called me up on some things he’s been concerned about, so we got to have a good talk and I’ve refocused. It’s best to keep things simple and it’s nice to know people actually care.
Sunday
Courtney came back from Cuba! And just in time too, with Fidel stepping down this morning. Which, I don’t think, is going to make much of a difference anyway…at least not for a while. Anyway, she brought me back some earrings and is letting me borrow a very cute dress she got down there.
We like her.

I would love to hear more about the refocusing…
I so so so want to see U2:3D.
So very badly.
